The generous open-air bath links into the main oversized bath, and leaves you feeling like you are floating on the water.
Soak and luxuriate in the tub out of doors; savor the fragrance of the trees and seasonal treasures gracing the surface of the tranquil waters.
We also provide a sauna for you to enjoy alongside the hot spring.

At night, the bath is wonderfully illuminated into a fantastic and romantic scene.

Hot spring

A hot spring of outstanding quality within the famous "Shirahama Hot Spring" resort region.

The hot spring at the Shirahama Coganoi Resort & Spa is designated as a "sodium hydrogen carbonate/chloride spring", thanks to which it resembles "Yuzaki Shichiyu" (the seven hot springs of Yuzaki) (currently suspended), familiar since ancient times in the Shirahama Hot Spring region and also featured in a range of historical literature, including 'Manyoshu', 'Nihonshoki', 'Zoku Nihonshoki', etc. and acclaimed as one of Japan's three oldest springs as well as among the very finest of the Shirahama Hot Spring region.
